My sincerest condolences to Mike’s family. Thank you Mike for our conversations.
I am grateful for the time we spent together and will miss you forever.

Just a few weeks ago I spent 5 days with Mike in the UK. Training and a lot of meetings. But also having fun and eating breakfast, lunch and dinner together. Trying out all the different desserts on the menu. Hotel room at the same floor and Mike as the designated driver to get us to the office. Making plans for the next trip. I was shocked to hear that Mike passed away. It must be a mistake, but.. it is not. During the last three years I met him in the UK a couple of times each year. We found out that we have a lot of things we both like. TV shows, music, the same sense of humor. It is too  fast, I will miss him! Rest in Peace Mike! Your Dutch colleague and friend Wim Snoek

Mike is a long time special friend. The Friday before his passing Mike took me and my dog Oliver who he loved to spend the day in cape may a place we all loved. We talked all day reminiscing about the fun we had over the years with family . It was so special and fun a real catch up for all the years in Long Beach island and lake George. Went to asbury park too.  We went on four adventures with Oliver. So special a man he was.  Thank you Mike
 So happy we had that day. So sad that it was to be the last time I and Oliver would see you. We are all better people to have known you. I shall miss your always.

Mike  was truly one of a kind—a genuine friend whose generosity, humility, and concern for others always stood out. He never sought the spotlight, but his presence was felt deeply by all who knew him. Incredibly intelligent, with a masterful way of telling stories and a perfectly dry sense of humor, Mike never failed to make me laugh.

He loved skiing, cruising around Lake George, walking the Jersey Shore, taking long drives, and spending time with friends. I’m grateful for the friendship we shared and for all the fun and funny memories. I’m deeply saddened that I didn’t get to say goodbye. I will miss him dearly. 🙁

I’m so sorry to hear of my cousin Mike’s passing.  From an early age he was kind, generous and thoughtful to all who knew him. 
My brother and sister and I thoroughly enjoyed receiving his wonderfully written emails sharing his thoughts and observations. We will miss him.

Mike is the gift we share collectively, because he lives on in that sweet spot within our individual psyche.  Kindness and wit, blended with wisdom and laughter, enhanced by fun, affection, adventure, were but the beginning of his depth.  I am a better person from this brief moment in time, brushing shoulders with class and polish.  No one else ever opened a car door for me.  Nor shared such hilarious inside jokes.  To quote James Taylor - "But I always thought I'd see you again."

So sorry to lose this witty and good-humored man. Mike and I started corresponding on our birthdays over 15 years ago and started to get to know each other as adults, since we had not gotten to know each other as cousins in our childhoods. I always looked forward to his emails and appreciated his writing and point of view on the human experience. I hope the good ancestors embrace him and make the way easier in his next gig.
