Minnie Ito

Minnie Ito of Wellesley, passed away peacefully June 12, 2012 in Wellesley MA. where she lived since 1960. Beloved wife of Dr. Susumu Ito for 64 years, Minnie was born in Oakland, California to the late Yone and ShojiroTsuji. She lived in Cleveland,Ohio and New York City before moving to Wellesley.

In addition to spending time with her family and her many friends, Minnie enjoyed going to her summer home in Manomet, MA and traveling throughout the world. She was a fervent fan of the Boston Celtics. She was an active member of the Wellesley Garden Club, the Wellesley Hills Women’s Club and proudly served as an Election Worker for the Town of Wellesley for over 25 years.

Minnie is pre-deceased by her sister, Marie Toguchi, her brother, Tom Tsuji, and her son, Daniel. She is also survived by Linda and Jim Ito-Adler of Belmont, MA, Celia and Barry Doe or Belmont, MA., Bruce Ito of San Francisco, CA. and Ellen Ito of Falmouth,MA. She will always be loved, remembered, and missed by her whole family, including her five grandchildren, Justin, Jayson, Lisa, Jesse, and Amanda.
