Morton Lee Brond

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on May 5, 1935, he was the son of Helen and Mo Brond and brother to Annette Krauss Fisher (deceased). Beloved husband of 60 years to his wife, Lorraine Shirley Brond, until her passing in 2018. Loving father of Karin Weinberg and her husband David of Southborough and David Brond and his wife Marianne of Middletown, DE. Cherished grandfather of Daniel Brond and his wife Kelly, of Baltimore, MD; Laura Brond Dziuban and her husband Matthew of Boston; and Noah, Max and Gavin of Southborough. Treasured great grandfather to Leo Brond of Baltimore, MD.

Mort worked for Raytheon Service Company for over 50 years, his last position as a Vice President. He was kind, patient and generous. Mort was dedicated to his family and always had a smile on his face. Over the years, he avidly followed the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics, was a member of the RMA and enjoyed photography, traveling, playing tennis and running road races. In his later years, his favorite activity was going to lunch at Tatnuck Bookseller with his daughter for the wonderful food and conversation with all his friends there.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 26 at 10:00 AM at the Congregation B’nai Shalom, 117 Main Street, Westborough, MA, followed by interment in New Town Cemetery.
