

LINDAHL, RITA C., 87, of Sudbury passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011. Born Rita Catherine Murphy in Newton, MA on January 28, 1924, she spent many years living in Newton and subsequently moved to Wayland. In 1969 she relocated to Denver, CO until 1988 when she moved back to Massachusetts and resided in Sudbury. Rita was preceded in death by her husband Frank Colin Lindahl. Her greatest joy in life was raising her children and being with her three grandchildren. She later became fondly known as “Nana” to her family and friends. Her quick wit and keen sense of humor will be missed by all who enjoyed being with her.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy (Donald Jr.) Jones of Sudbury, her son Richard (Sandi) of Highlands Ranch, CO, her son Kevin (Lois) of Ponce Inlet, FL, her three grandchildren Chris Jones of Mashpee, Kevin Jones of Sudbury and Kendra Lindahl of Highlands Ranch, CO, and her brothers James (the late Mary) Murphy of Wellesley, MA, and John (Millie) of Tucson, AZ.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Rita’s Life on Saturday, April 2, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at the Jones & Bartlett Publishers Building, 40 Tall Pine Dr. Sudbury, MA.
