Stephen Wentworth Gifford, III, of Dedham and Chatham Massachusetts, August 2, 2012, at the age of 90 from complications resulting from a fall last May. Survived by his wife Enid (Fessenden), his son, Stephen Nye and his wife Lee of Dedham, daughter, Enid Lane of New York City, son, Jonathan Hart of Brookline; two grandchildren; Sarah Winn and Stephen Wentworth and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 21, at 11 AM at First Church and Parish in Dedham Unitarian Universalist, 670 High Street, Dedham, MA. Burial is private.
