I remember all the great times that we spent with him at your home when we came back to visit as children. I am grateful for Uncle Bill also serving as my Godfather at my Baptism. We are keeping his soul and all of you in our prayers.

To the O’Rourke Family,
I am so sorry to read of Bill’s passing. I was a rookie teacher in ‘68 and a BU alum so it was only natural for Bill to offer some of his teaching hints to a fellow “Terrier”. I will forever cherish his friendship . It was a pleasure be his colleague. Rest In Peace my friend.

When I think about some of the finest people I have met in life, Mr. O'Rourke is absolutely at the top of my list. He was someone that you could look to as a model for how to be as a father and as a husband. Not having a father figure in my life, Mr. O'Rourke provided me with a good example of how a family man should be. I am terribly sorry to the O'rourke family for their loss. However, I would like them to know that his impact as a adored man in this world lives on with all of us.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. O'Rourke's passing. As a kid I remember playing with Billy while his dad was either mowing the lawn or fixing things around the house. Those were simpler times. My sincerest condolences to you, Mrs. O'Rourke, and of course Patty, Mary Beth, Janet, and Bill. Sending you all prayers.
