

Albert Eric Dayap, 53, passed away on July 27, 2026. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on January 20, 1973. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his passions, and, above all, the deep love he had for his family and friends.
Albert found joy in many things throughout his life. He was a lifelong wrestling fan, with Wrestlemania being one of his favorite annual events. He was an avid movie collector who loved the experience of going to the movie theater, always looking forward to discovering the latest films or revisiting timeless classics. His love of collecting also extended to Star Wars action figures, a hobby that brought him great happiness.
Albert took great pride in his work at Amazon Fresh, where he enjoyed being part of a team and serving others. At home, he was devoted to his two beloved ferrets, Logan and Raven, who brought him endless companionship and smiles.
A passionate sports fan, Albert faithfully cheered for the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team, the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, and the New Jersey Devils. Whether watching March Madness with family or following his favorite teams, sports were another way he connected with the people he loved.
While Albert had many interests, nothing meant more to him than his family and friends. He cherished the time spent with those closest to him, and his love, loyalty, and kindness will remain in their hearts forever.
Albert is survived by his loving mother, Lulu Escusa; his brother, Arnold Dayap; and his sister, Lauren Dayap. He also leaves behind many relatives, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
