OBITUARY
Albert J. Emmett
October 23, 1993 – February 16, 2021
Albert J. Emmett of Sloatsburg, NY passed away on February 16, 2021. He was 27 years old.
Albert was born on October 23, 1993 to Kim Marie Siciliano and Albert F. Emmett, Jr., in Suffern, NY.
To know Albert, was to love Albert. Being around him would immediately lighten up the room and have you laughing within minutes from his bigger than life smile and constant jokes. Albert was a simple kid who loved his family, his friends, football, and his dog Bronx. Albert had big dreams and was so excited about his future and there is no doubt in our hearts that he would have accomplished every goal he dreamed of. Although he is not physically here with us, we will carry him in our hearts forever and laugh every time we watch a movie we quoted together. Albert, we love you more than words can describe and will miss you more than anyone will ever understand. You are our baby forever and now we live for you.
He is survived by his loving parents Kim Marie Siciliano and Albert F. Emmett, Jr.; caring sisters Jennifer Emmett, Nicole Hagan, and Alexis Emmett and his adoring nieces Gianna Schoener and Adriana Rodriguez. He is also survived by his girlfriend Mackenzie Diepold, his best friend Anthony Simon, and his beloved dog Bronx.
Memorial Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Wednesday February 24, 2021 at the WANAMAKER & CARLOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. A Memorial Service will follow at 7pm, also at the funeral home.

To The Entire Emmett Family, Albert was such a good kid, I remember him coming over and spending lots of time with my boys when they were all younger, at our Sloatsburg home. He was like part of the family, we will miss him so much! His smile was so contagious and his genuine personality was very special, you can say he was a one-of-a-kind-kid! Heaven just got another ANGEL! Love Always, The Lindemann Family

We have so many fond memories of our childhood with all of the Emmett crew. Albert was the happiest little fella with big sisters who loved him dearly. We are sad we moved away and didn't get to see the man who grew up to be. We know how proud you all are of him. We know how much love there was.
Sending so many hugs and love to Kim, Jen, Nicole and Alexis. We can't imagine your pain.
With love always,
The Greenberg Family

No words can express the pain that you and your family are going through and my prayer for you is that God will give you strength to face the coming days ahead. May the happy memories of your brother be in your mind and in your heart now, to help you during this sad time in your life. Albert and my son Tyler played football together at CMU. Tyler brought Albert home to stay with us over thanksgiving a couple years ago. We enjoyed his company very much and we are blessed to have met him. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

So many wonderful memories, beach vacations, hanging in the backyard, the park, the pool . Albert being the baby of the bunch would always hang out with the moms. My heart is so broken. Kim, I pray there will come a day where you can find just a sliver of peace in your heart. You are in my prayers every minute of everyday. Girls, take care of your mom. I too have lost a sibling and I can sympathize the amount of pain your in. I pray for you to find strength to get through the days. Stay close and love one another..love to you all!!

Dear Emmett Family, I am the mother of Keaton Edwards, who was a teammate of Albert’s at CMU. I want to extend my sympathy to each of you. Keaton shared that he and Albert were on Special Teams together, and LB’s. Keaton had reached out to us to pray for your family. Please know that we are lifting you up in prayer, and have you in our thoughts. Even though we are miles apart(Ohio), we share in your loss. May you be comforted by others, as you go through this journey of sorrow and grief. Sincerely, Gary and Chris Edwards.

It’s been years since I last saw Albert and it took him to remind me who he was it had been so long. He called out my name from across the room to see if I’d react because he wasn’t sure either and as a stood there look at this giant of a man in front of me he said it’s Albert Emmett and I was shocked prior to that I hadn’t scene him since he was the little kid from around the block and I was just astounded to see how he had grown so much so I was honestly baffled to the point I still couldn’t believe it was him. I still remember going over to your house and playing in the basement as kids I told him and couldn’t believe how grown up he was. He was a great kid and I’ll never forget RIP.

Albert came to Central Methodist University and instantly found a home here. I played linebacker with Albert and was on all special teams with him. Everyday he pushed people to be their best wether it was in the weight room or on the field. Albert had a great personality and his New York accent was hilarious when he’d get mad. He loved his dog! One morning we were suppose to be at a morning practice, but his dog got out and ran away so he spent all night roaming the streets of Fayette to find his dog. I remember when we were maxing out in the weight room, he could always bench more than me. I’d always look over and joke about how he’s been working construction since I was in preschool. One of our teammates died in a car crash, Albert was there to comfort his family and us as a team. My family and I will be praying for your loss, you’ll always be in our hearts Albert! Love you bro!

I had the pleasure of coaching Albert at Hudson Valley, he was an unbelievable kid and this is heartbreaking news. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. He was a hard working, selfless, cerebral player. I loved coaching him.
