Allan Rodriguez

He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, on June 27, 1958, and grew up in West New York, New Jersey. Allan was the beloved son of the late Francisco Rodriguez and Himilce (née Portes) Rodriguez. He graduated from Memorial Highschool in West New York, NJ in 1976 and Rutgers University in 1980 with a bachelor's degree. He then began a lifelong career built on dedication, intelligence, and an unwavering work ethic.

Allan met the love of his life, Suzanne Logan in 1983 at Global Turnkey Systems and they began a long-lasting relationship built on love, respect and friendship. In 2001, they were married in Hopewell, New Jersey. Together they had a life centered on love, family, and the joy of raising their special needs daughter, Sarah, whom Allan adored beyond measure. Being a husband and father was among his greatest blessings, and his family was always the center of his world.

For many years, Allan worked as an IT Support Technician for Munics Information Systems/RoboCom Systems International from Cedar Knolls, NJ and then remotely from home. He took great pride in his work and earned the respect of colleagues through his reliability, professionalism, and tireless dedication. His strong work ethic and commitment to helping others defined his career until his retirement.

Those who knew Allan will remember his remarkable sense of humor. His dry wit and clever observations could bring laughter to any room, often delivered with perfect timing and a quiet smile. Beneath that humor was a kind, gentle soul whose warmth, patience, and compassion touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He loved deeply, cared generously, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Allan is survived by his devoted wife, Suzanne Rodriguez; his cherished daughter, Sarah Rodriguez; his loving sister, Lourdes Shoaf, and her husband, Ron; along with extended family and many dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Allan's legacy lives on through the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, the example of his hard work and integrity, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness. He will be remembered with love, gratitude, and affection by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Rt. 59 Suffern, NY. A Memorial Service will be held following the visitation at 3:30 pm also at the funeral home.
