Allison Anne Kucera Healy, 37, passed away on Friday, July 13th at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx with her family at her bedside. She leaves a huge emptiness in the hearts of all of us who loved her.

Born on May 4th, 1981, Allison was truly beautiful inside and out. You could feel her energy when she was near and made an effort to connect with everyone she met. She touched the hearts of others wherever she went. She was 37, bubbly, outgoing, vivacious, generous, feisty, funny and just simply like no other.

Allie attended St. Anthony School in Nanuet, NY where she enjoyed being a cheerleader then Park Ridge High School in New Jersey where she made many friends.

Allie met her husband to be when she was 19 at her first full time job as a service writer for Saturn in West, Nyack, NY. Thus began the loves of a lifetime - she loved her husband Rob and loved working in the car industry. She was working at Grand Prize of Nanuet when she was diagnosed with cancer 6 years ago and her battle began.

Allie was brave, courageous and strong- her doctors, nurses and other care professionals were touched by her courage, determination and fortitude. She was a true warrior.

Allie is survived by her beloved, loyal husband Robert and son Austin (4) who never had a chance to experience his mother's vivaciousness. She is also survived by her father, Greg Kucera and his wife, Donna; her stepmother Cynthia Kucera; her in-laws Annette and Charlie Hacker and Tom and Beth Healy, her grandparents Joe and Rose Ann Kucera and Muriel McGill; her devoted sister Cheryl and her partner Loriann, and her brothers John, Kevin (and his partner Rebecca), Gregory and Stephen; and her siblings in-law Colette, Kara and Christopher. She also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Deborah and sister Faith.

Allie made so many, many friends in her short life.We will miss her laugh and the sparkle in her big blue eyes.

Visiting hours are Monday, July 16th, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home in Suffern, NY. Her funeral will be at 11:30 am at St. Anthony's Church in Nanuet, NY.

I met Allison when I serviced my car at Saturn. She called me “The Etch-a-Sketch Lady” because she enjoyed playing with the mini-Etch-a-Sketch on my spare key chain. She made me feel like I was her favorite customer, but knowing Allison, I’m sure all of her customers felt that way.

Sometimes I’d be driving home from Westchester over the TZB and realize I had a flat. I’d call Allison and she would make sure I was taken care of right away...every time! And I had a LOT of flats!

When I bought a Toyota Camry, I continued to have my car serviced at Saturn...because of Allison. But then one day, she was gone...and things were never the same. Come on; who gets depressed when a service representative leaves? Well, if you were Allison’s customer, then YOU would.

Years later, I joyfully found her on Facebook. And then a few years after that, I sadly learned of her illness...and just a few weeks ago, of her eventual passing.

I may have owned the mini-Etch-a-Sketch, but Allison is the one who did the etching. She etched her way right into our hearts...even mere customers at a local car dealership.

May her family find comfort in knowing just how many lives she touched in her short time with us.

Rest In Peace, sweet Allison! I will never forget you.

God where do I start. I remember the first day we met I was eating pizza at 7am and you just quietly observed without saying a word. After a week you finally asked me if I was okay because every morning when you drop off Austin I’m eating dinner for breakfast. That was the start of one crazy friendship. The year I spent with you was absolutely amazing. We had fun trips around town, froyo with Grammy and of course checking out the hot guys at solan. You taught me a lot. Like how to respect myself and how to enjoy every moment in life. With you I also learned I can not for the life of me make a scarf or blanket. Most importantly you taught me about life and how short it can be. You taught me to love and respect those that mean the most to me. You were an angel on earth and god needed you back.
