Allyn H. Winter

Allyn H Winter, a resident of Suffern, NY, passed away on June 13, 2024. He was 65 years old. Allyn was born on May 22, 1959 in Suffern, NY to the late Robert and Jean (Jenkins) Winter. Before his retirement, he was a police officer for the Town of Ramapo for many years. Past Exalted Ruler and Life Member of Mahwah Elks Lodge BPOE 1941. Past Chief and Life Member of Hillburn Fire Department. Member of Sons of The American Legion Post 859 Suffern, NY

He is survived by 3 Children, Robert Allyn Winter, Joseph William Winter and Stephanie Jean Winter. 3 Grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jordan and Nathan. Brothers Terry Robert Winter and Spouse Laurel and Laurens Grant Winter and Janine. Along with many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins

He was predeceased by his Father Robert, Mother Jean and Sister Lila Dawn

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 21st from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901. Firematic Services will be at 7:30 pm and Elks Service at 8:00 pm. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 22nd at 10am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Airmont Coptic Orthodox Cemetery, 51A South Airmont Rd., Suffern, NY 10901.
