Andre was born in Leogane, Haiti in 1938 to Felicia Leriche & Example Eloi.
He arrived in New York City in 1969 for better life. Andre made a way where there was no way. He started working at Nyack Hospital in Rockland county. Eager to make a road for himself and the family left back home. The opportunity were present in the City.He went to live in Brooklyn where he worked as a yellow cab driver all his life. After retirement he went back to live his hometown Leogane. He took his last breath at home at his Pomona New York residence.
Andre is survived by his partner Yvette Esther and his children Samuella, Elliot, Mirlene. Left to cherish his memories are his grand children, his brother Gerard, his sister Andre Rose, a lot of Nephew and nieces, plenty of cousins, friends and all the yellow cab driver he spent countless hours working alongside.
He loved. He was loved. He will be dearly missed. He will always be cherished.
