Angela Louise Sapienza

Angela Louise Caldi Sapienza, our loving mother, the center of our family, passed away on September 27, 2018. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph Paul and Louise Camera Caldi on July 1, 1926. She married Joseph R. Sapienza Sr. on March 9, 1946 and they remained a devoted, loving couple until his passing on May 10, 2005. She is survived by her five children: Joanne, Lois (Brian), Joseph (Mary), Deborah (Bruce) and Al (Michelle), and the special joy of her life, her granddaughter Alexa Anne Sapienza. She will be forever remembered by her sister Joan (Chris) Hurt, her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her loving extended family which includes the Rosminis, Rupps, Caffreys, Weliksons and Widlitzes. She was preceded in death by her sister Jessica Boccone. We will miss her smile, inner and outer beauty, her cooking, the holidays and all the good times growing up in our loving home. A home built from their love, for the happiness and security of their children. A home that was open to all our friends and relatives to share in our joy and happiness. She was always there for us. We will miss her every day, she will forever remain in our hearts.

Her wake will be held on Thursday, October 4th, 2018 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm, and Friday, October 5th, 2018 from 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern 10901, 845-357-0423. Services will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2018, at 9am at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, followed by entombment at Calvary Cemetery, 49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, Woodside, NY 10377.
