Anne T. Gilson

Anne was the daughter of Anna (Sember) and Francis Kollisch and the wife of Matthew J. Gilson (deceased) of 67 years. Beloved mother of Andrea (Charles Edwards), Matthew (Sandra) and Joseph ( Patricia). Cherished grandmother of Michael, Anna, Joseph (KC), Christopher (Karlee), Kevin, Matthew (Erica), Edward (Oxa) and Scott and great grandmother of Camden and Stephen.

Anne was born on May 20, 1932 in New York City and spent her childhood in Manhattan and the Bronx, where she met her future husband, Matthew. They were married in 1953 and moved their young family to Tallman in 1963 where they resided for almost 60 years. Anne worked for the Ramapo Central School District (Suffern Central School District) for 27 years where she developed many cherished friendships. Anne most enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren, baking for them and sharing her love of reading.

Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901, US, on March 12, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Sacred Heart Church, 60 Washington Ave, Suffern, NY 10901, US, on March 14, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
