Antonio Isernia

Antonio was born on November 7, 1933 to the late Augustine and Giuseppina (Colucci) Isernia in Sperone, Italy.

Antonio loved to play and watch soccer his favorite team was Juventus. He enjoyed such hobbies as gardening and traditions like canning tomatoes, and making homemade Soppressata and wine. These were a true labor of love for him and most of all sharing all this with his family and friends. Above all he loved spending time with his family and making beautiful memories.

Antonio is survived by his loving children, Josephine Romano and her husband Richard, Augustine Isernia and his wife Heather, Maria Ives and her husband Tony and Elia Flynn and her husband Charles and his caring daughter-in-law, Jennifer Isernia. His adoring grandchildren, Ana, Teresa, Ethan, Alexander, Avery, Aiden, Christopher, Nikolas, Athena, Nicolette, Nathan and Grace and his cherished great grandchildren, Lila, Mason, Lennon and Archie also survive him. His beloved wife Anna and his cherished son Nick predeceased him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 5-8pm at the Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Rt. 59, Suffern, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 22nd at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY. Entombment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Airmont, NY.
