Arnold O. Dudley Jr. 69, who lived in Jacksonville Florida, passed away January 18th, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Arnold or " Arnie" as friends liked to call him, retired from the County of Rockland Grounds Dept. and also the Nanuet Public School system. He retired to Florida and because of his love for baseball, he ran a fantasy baseball league. In his younger days, he played on many Rockland County softball teams and was known as "Doc" the pitcher. He is predeceased by his father, Arnold Sr. and his mother, Edna. He leaves behind his sisters, Doris and Alice (Danny), his brother, Robert plus his nieces and nephews, Mark, Sarah, Tarik, Adam, Laith, Zade, and Mariam. Arnold always made the people around him feel happy, and he'll be sorely missed.
Viewing will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Sunday, January 22nd, from 4 to 8 PM. Burial is the following day at Tappan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.
