

Born on November 12, 1934, in Queens, New York, Audrey was the daughter of the late George and Ida (Hacker) Schraff. She dedicated many years of service as a secretary for Dr. Rella in Suffern, NY, where she was known for her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail.
On December 4, 1955, Audrey married the love of her life, Edward S. Johnson, at Fourth Presbyterian Church in the Bronx, New York. Together they shared 47 devoted years of marriage before Edward's passing in December 2002.
Audrey found great joy in knitting and crocheting, creating countless handmade treasures. She was an active member of her community and faithfully served as secretary for the Seniors Club at The Retreat at Airmont. A longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Airmont, she cherished her church family and the friendships she made throughout the years.
Above all, Audrey was devoted to her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Lifvergren and her husband, John; her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Lifvergren, Lauren Triano and her husband, Travis, and Meaghan Johnson; and her adored great-grandchildren, Mason and Ava.
In addition to her husband, Audrey was predeceased by her beloved son, Keith W. Johnson, in August 2013, a loss that deeply affected her for the remainder of her life. She was also predeceased by her brother, George Schraff, in December 1965.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, New York.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Airmont Coptic Cemetery in Airmont, New York.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Audrey's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Donations can be made online through St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Audrey will be remembered for her quiet strength, unwavering devotion to her family, and the warmth and kindness she shared with all who knew her. Her memory will be treasured and kept alive in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
