It is with great sadness that the family of Bernard Modder announces the passing of his wife Barbara on December 25, 2017. Barbara, a long time Mahwah H.S. educator will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years Bernard; son Larry Modder and his wife, Laureen; daughter Allisen Graves and her husband, Jim. Barbara will also be fondly remembered by her five Grandchildren Kiera, Kelsie, Madison, Kaelyn, Ryan and her siblings Darlene Denny, Larry and Gene Tremblay. Barbara will be waked on Friday December 29, 2017 at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home in Suffern, NY from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A mass will be held on Saturday December 30th at 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Tuxedo, NY. Interment will follow at the Ascension Cemetery at 650 Saddle River Road, Monsey, NY.
