Bartolomeo Vernace passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the age of 67. Bartolomeo was born to Antonino and Melchiorra Vernace on March 29, 1949 in Comporeale, Sicily, Italy. Bobby is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years Jacqueline Vernace, adored children Vita Goetz (Sean) and Anthony Vernace (Dawn), by five cherished grandchildren Jacqueline, Alex, Brandon, Joe, and Gabe, and his caring sisters Franca and Josephine and brother Michael.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 6th at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY 10AM. Entombment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Airmont, NY.
