Brenda A. Greene

Greene, Brenda A. of Spring Valley, NY died October 28, 2012 at age 67. Born on March 21, 1945 in the Bronx, NY to William and Ruth (Smith) Lamb. Brenda graduated from Rockland Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Human Services. She was a founder of the Ladies and Men’s Club of Spring Valley High School, a member of the NAACP and a Chairperson of the East Ramapo School District PTA in Spring Valley. Brenda took care of all of her siblings from a young age after the [d]eath of her Mother. [Moreover, Brenda] was the Matriarch of the [f]amily and everyone needed her advice at one time or another.

Survived by her loving children Lillian, Andrew Jackson III, Michael and Christopher, 8 devoted grandchildren and 4 cherished great grandchildren and caring siblings Ruth and Fredrika. Predeceased by her devoted husband of 26 years Andrew Jackson Greene and siblings William, Jr., Andre, Olivia, Cecilia and Penelope.

Visitation Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Funeral Service Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11am at the funeral home followed by an interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Putnam Valley, NY.
