Brenda Binghi Marmo

Brenda Marmo of Pomona, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2014. She was born to the late Alfred and Fannie Binghi on September 3, 1942 in the Bronx, NY. Brenda later married her devoted husband; Michael Marmo, who predeceased her on October 20, 1995.

Brenda is survived by her loving sons; Anthony Roppolo and his wife Anna of Stony Point, NY and Derek Roppolo of New York, NY, step sons Ken Marmo and Todd Marmo, cherished grandchildren; Michael Roppolo, Angela Roppolo and Isabelle Roppolo, nieces and nephews; Jennifer Binghi, Brian Binghi and his wife, Tara, Andrea Eirand and her husband, Jimmy and her great-niece and nephew; Lola Binghi and Owen Binghi. She is also predeceased by her siblings; Alfred Binghi and Patricia Waldorf.

A very special thanks goes to the entire staff at Summit Park Nursing Home, who provided unending compassionate care for many years.

The visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 10:00am with the interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, New York 10956.
