Predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Helen Coe of Sloatsburg, NY, she is survived by her daughter, Alexandra Harrsch McNulty and her husband, John McNulty, of Baltimore , MD. In addition, she is survived by her two sisters, Margaret Coe and her husband John Yasinsac of Palm Coast, FL and Mary Coe and her husband Thomas Gallagher III, of Wayne, PA, and two nephews, Thomas Gallagher IV of Philadelphia, PA and Brian Gallagher and his wife Holly of Baltimore, MD.
Carole graduated from Suffern High School and Mercy College of Dobbs Ferry, NY, with a degree in Business Management and Accounting. Although she loved the numbers of the business world, she found her true calling when she began her 18 years of working with children in the Suffern Central School District, in the elementary and middle school Special Education Department.
Carole loved making people laugh and was known for her sense of humor. She also loved perennial and vegetable gardening, baking, a good book, and a cup of tea! She was happiest traveling and spending time with her daughter, Alex. Her favorite quote was “Always remember the simple things in life” and she lived her life with that in mind every day.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 27th from 4-7pm. Services will be private to family.
Although Carole loved flowers, she also would love to see donations towards METAvivor, a grant and research organization for metastatic stage 4 breast cancer. (www.metavivor.org.)
