

On January 5, 2012, while she was held by her family, Catherine White entered the gates of Heaven to join hands with Ronald her adoring husband of 61 years. Catherine deeply missed Ronald who predeceased her on April 2, 2011, and she is now back in his loving arms. Born April 21, 1928, in New York, New York to Edward and Anna Miller (Divelly). Catherine loved New York City and lived on 77th Street in Astoria for almost 50 years. Catherine retired in 1993 from the Archdiocese of Brooklyn, Tribunal Division. She enjoyed going to restaurants, spending time with her family, and visiting Atlantic City. Catherine was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and friend. She serves as an example to all on how to gracefully deal with adversity. Catherine was predeceased by her brother Lawrence Miller. She is survived by loving sons Robert (wife Terri), and Stephen (wife Erika), cherished grandchildren Lily (husband Rana), and Jacob, caring brother George Krtek (wife Linda), and sister-in-law Jeanine, and her canine companion, Peanut. Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY.
