At 89 years old, Cruzita lived a life full of love from her four surviving daughters Evelyn, Iris, Elizabeth, and Margie, her 14 grandchildren, 16 and a half great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren whom she cherished dearly. Cruzita will join her children Jenny and Wilfredo, along with the love of her life Juan Bonilla in the afterlife.
The Puerto Rican native was born on May 3, 1934, daughter of Isidro Santiago and Ramona Gonzalez. Cruzita was a sassy yet adoring mother and grandmother who fought until the end to be with her family. She was full of life spending much of her time, even her last moments, dancing to her favorite salsa music with her family and friends. When she wasn’t dancing she was in the kitchen cooking food that would comfort you almost as much as her warm hugs.
