Don always had a bright smile and kind words every time we saw and talked to him.

Don was a success who lived well, laughed often and loved much, who gained the respect of intelligent people and the deep love and respect of his children, grandchildren and friends. Don filled his niche and accomplished his tasks in his career and leaves the world better than he found it. Don looked for the best in others and gave his best. Don Berard was truly a decent God loving man, he’ll be missed.

Don and his wife Rosalie were such a huge part of my life beginning with meeting Don at my first job at State Bank of Pearl River, from then, Marine Midland Bank. He met Rosie when she came there to work with us and we have been close ever since. Don and Rosie are Godparents to my son Gregg. We all have so many happy & fun memories of our times together as a family.
We loved them and think them often and still miss those days

Playing his favorite game, not! He told us many years later that he hated monopoly. The kids wanted to play it every time he visited!
