Donny was a regular with a group of us who would have dinner at Chef Antonio's and we all became great friends over the years. His favorite pizza, that he always wanted to share, was garlic and shrimp. He was funny, warm and welcoming to everyone and always made us laugh. He spoke fondly of his children and especially his grandchildren. Once we're all back at Chef's, we will surely toast his memory and will miss him terribly.

Dear Joanne, Dianne , Donna and the rest of the Ferrara Family. I am so sad to say goodbye to a wonderful man. Donny (Lefty) was a big part of our family. I remember going with my dad, sister, Donny, Diane and Donna to Rye Play Land Ice Skating and then to I Hop. We have some many memories of Donny that will forever be in our heart. All our love and prayers in this difficult time. Lisa and Rose Mei Greco.

The Mazzola family would like to express their heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Ferrara, Dianne, Donna and all of their family on the passing of Donny.
He will be fondly remembered by me as an “Old School” guy from the Bronx, who you couldn’t help but like and respect.
Though we hadn’t seen each other in many years, I remember Donny and Mrs. Ferrara showing up to my father’s wake and funeral mass. It absolutely blew me away, and showed the quality of first class people they are.
I’ll remember and appreciate it Always!!! Until we meet again Donny, Rest In Peace.
