Dorothy E. Hopper (nee Blake) passed away peacefully on November 16th, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born on May 27, 1929 in Nyack, New York to the late Roland and Sophia Blake of Nyack, New York. She was predeceased by her husband; Edward R. Hopper.
She is survived by her loving children; Nancy (Howard) Hyman of Sloatsburg, NY, Sandra (Joseph) Miraglio of Pomona, NY and Mary (Andrew) Bauer of Pine Bush, NY, her sister; Enda L. Blake of Airmont, NY, her 6 grandchildren; Matthew, Joseph, Anthony, Jonathan, Maryann, Andrew John and her 6 great-grandchildren; Skye, Gianna, Gabriella, Brady, Anthony and Vincent.
Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11am with the interment to follow at Brick Church Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
