Erik Robert Eidner

Erik Robert Eidner, 20, of Mahwah, NJ, passed away on September 16, 2021. Erik was born to Richard and Lisa (Miller) Eidner on October 11, 2000 in Ridgewood, NJ. Erik was a 2019 graduate of Mahwah High School where he participated in varsity football and wrestling teams. He was a proud Eagle Scout earning a Bronze Palm, collecting five additional merit badges beyond what was required to become an Eagle Scout. Erik was a certified EMT, motorcycle and fitness enthusiast. Erik was compassionate always caring and helping his friends and family whenever needed. He was patient, kind, empathetic, demonstrated a wonderful sense of humor and was well loved by all who knew him. Erik was employed by the Ramsey Infinity Group, Upper Saddle River, NJ.

Erik is survived by his loving parents, Richard and Lisa Eidner; by his older brother Timothy Eidner; and by his sisters, Stephanie and Nicole Eidner. He is also survived by his caring aunts; Linda Edwards, Laura Dunnigan, and Christine Eidner; his loving uncles; Kenneth Edwards and Steven Eidner, cousins; Brittany Miller, Lindsy Gavagni, Brandon Dunnigan, Jayden Miller, Tyler Phillips, Theodore Gavagni, Peter Gavagni, and his canine family; Maverick, Noel, and Roxy. Erik will be deeply missed by all of his family, friends and his beloved dogs.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 4-8 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. A Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 8PM also at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home. Committal is private.
