Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Felicia Fox, of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021, surrounded by her adoring family. Felicia (Norberto) Fox was born April 15, 1935, in Bronx, N.Y., daughter of the late Dominic and Ann (Signore) Norberto. After graduating from Roosevelt High School, Felicia worked at the Irving Trust Company, where she met her beloved husband of 64 years, Michael C. Fox. Felicia lived vibrantly with a deep appreciation for celebrating life. She could always be found dancing front row while her sons performed with their band. She was their biggest fan and cheerleader, only second to her fondness for Elvis Presley. Felicia’s dedication to her family and friends was unmatched. She took great pride in providing a home filled with endless music, food, and happy memories. Always hand-in-hand with her husband, Felicia’s days were filled with activities and social engagements, whether in her neighborhood, at Lake Wallenpaupack, or, later in life, in the senior community. Felicia was dedicated to her faith and her community. She volunteered at her parish teaching religious education classes for children. She was excited to share the everlasting light of her faith with younger generations. Despite her small size, Felicia’s happy energy overwhelmed any room that she walked into. Complementary with her outgoingness, Felicia had a gentle and kind soul. She earned the love and trust of animals and enjoyed watching life bloom through her garden. She was affectionate and nurturing in every aspect of her life. Felicia went out of her way to make people feel welcomed, loved and special. It was important to Felicia for everyone around her to share in her enthusiasm for life. Felicia is survived by her husband Michael, sons Michael and Robert and his wife Kristine, grandchildren Stephanie, Jonathan, Jillian, Christopher, her two brothers Angelo and Anthony and many cherished nieces and nephews. Felicia’s bright spirit will live on forever in our hearts and in all of life’s beautiful moments. Visiting services will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home located at 177 NY-59, Suffern, New York. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 10:30am at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary located at 47 Island Road, Mahwah, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to organizations that support Autism Spectrum Disorder and Alzheimer’s disease.

In my 20s my wife and I were introduced to the Fox family through a friend Pat Lyons whom I worked with. He told me the young musicians in the family were great and maybe I could help them out. We wound up helping each other out and I was Blessed with knowing Mike & Felicia as well as Mike & Robbie and all their band mates. Felicia fed us each time we went up to their house to work on music and she taught Maryann how to make her bread rolls (which we still make once in a while). Back then it was like we had a new family to be with. We loved her and only because we moved away did we fall out of touch with these wonderful people. god rest your soul Felicia. we know he is holding you in His Hands now.
