

Felicitas was born on October 23, 1946 in Berlin, West Germany. As the daughter of Luise Tomazic she was raised early thereafter at the family home in Fulda, West Germany.
She completed her formal education in Fulda through Gymnasium, worked in Frankfurt Am Mainz until joining friends in New York City. She held a number of positions while attending New York City College which she left to become a legal secretary and then office manager of the law firm of David P. Dawson, Esq. Thereafter she met and married her husband ,Harold V. Higham, also a lawyer, on December 23, 1972.
In 1977, they moved to Suffern New York in Rockland County. With the advent of their son, Matthew, they settled in their present location in Tallman, New York.
In due course Fay concentrated on being a housewife, a gardener, raising Coy fish, a traveler and especially proficient at the game of Bridge. Concerning the last she became a Life Master.
She was also an excellent cook and baker, a trait she shared with her many friends at house parties and cook outs she hosted.
Her warm and generous personality was evident to all who met her.
Fay is survived by her beloved husband, Harold V. Higham and her loving son Matthew Higham both of Tallman, NY. as well as family and friends both here and in Germany.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-8:30 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 8:30 pm at the WANAMAKER & CARLOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. Committal Services will be Private.
