Frank had a good sense of humor and a kind and generous nature. He was a graduate of the City College of New York (CUNY), having studied early childhood education. However, he worked most of his life as a financial planner for Ameriprise Financial. He resided in Monsey, NY, before becoming a resident of the Pine Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Spring Valley, NY. During the Vietnam War he served in the US Army Reserves.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Tania Starace Mulstay, his sister, Linda Starace-Colabella, a brother-in-law, a sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Anthony F. Starace.
Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home in Suffern, NY, is assisting with preparations for Frank’s funeral. He will be interred in a cemetery in CT next to his parents. A memorial service will be held at a future date. Donations in Frank’s memory may be made to Oxfam America.
