Miele, Frank Sr. formerly of Sloatsburg died March 21, 2010 at age 88. Born February 28, 1922 in Sloatsburg, NY to Sabatile and Raffaella (nee Romilletta) Miele. Husband of the late Nicolina (nee Stilitino). Frank was a Veteran of the US Army having served during WWII. He also was a member of the Sloatsburg Fire Department for over 50 years. Survived by his loving children Frank Miele, Jr. (wife Christine) and Joanne Diorio (husband Raymond), 8 cherished grandchildren and 3 cherished great grandchildren and a devoted brother Joseph Miele (wife Lorraine). Predeceased by siblings Sabatile, James, Carmine, Frances, Mary and Rose. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home in Suffern. Funeral Mass Thursday 10am at St. Joan of Arc Church in Sloatsburg followed by an interment at Maryrest Cemetery Mahwah, NJ.
