

Frank Reginald Wilson, III, born on October 11, 1949, in Suffern, New York, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of service, creativity, and dedication to his family and community. He was the son of the late Frank Reginald Wilson, Jr. and Mary Grace (Teso) Wilson.
Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he built a long and honorable career with the United States Postal Service, retiring after 30 years of dedicated service.
Deeply committed to his community, Frank served as Fire Inspector for the Village of Suffern and was a devoted member of the Suffern Fire Department, where he volunteered for many years and rose to the rank of Chief. His leadership and service left a lasting impact on those who served alongside him.
Frank had a passion for life’s simple pleasures. He loved fishing, playing guitar, and expressing himself through painting, where his creativity truly shined.
He is survived by his beloved son, Kyle Wilson; his sister, Christine Andersen; and his brothers, Lawrence Wilson (Nancy), Glen Wilson (Lisa), William Wilson (Donna), and John Wilson (Christine). He is also survived by his partner, Julie Blanchard; his former wives, Donna Destefano (Richard) and Karen Wilson; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901.
A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Frank will be remembered for his service, his talents, and the love he shared with family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed.
