

Garry R. Englishman, 85, of Haskell, NJ, passed away on December 26, 2017. Garry was born in Suffern, NY to Garrett and Elsie in 1932, and lived in Airmont before moving to New Jersey. He graduated from Ramsey High School and went into the U.S. Army shortly after, serving with the 2nd Armored Division in Germany. Garry worked with his father and brother in the family business for many years. He lived in several places in New Jersey before settling in Haskell. He is survived by his four children, William (Brenda), Jeffery (Peg), Sharon, and Lisa Bogert (Darrin); nine grandchildren, Michael, Jessy, Matthew, Daniel, Axel, Jake, Alexis, Vanessa, and Abigail; and one great-grandchild, Kiera. He is also survived by his brother, Don, two sisters, Linda Van De Veen and Judith Cappiello; and many nieces and nephews. Garry was a member of Monsey Christian Reformed Church for 45 years before he joined Pompton Plains Reformed Bible Church. He was a born-again Christian who is now living eternally with his Savior, Jesus Christ. Services will be held at Pompton Plains Reformed Bible Church with Pastor Richard Kuiken officiating. The family will be greeting friends and relatives after the service. The funeral will take place at Airmont Lutheran Cemetery, Airmont, NY, on Jan. 3, 2018 at 1 pm.
