George is survived by his wife Veronica Barton Leoutsakos and five children: Alexis Leoutsakos and wife Doris; Peter Leoutsakos and wife Rosemarie; Christina Carmen and husband Bill; Maria Greenbaum and husband Marc; and Christopher Barton. He had 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He had a great love for children and they had a great love for him. George was bigger than life and always made people laugh or smile. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00pm. The funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in George’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
