Play Tribute Movie

Jacqueline Zangrilli (Jackie) was a kind, smart and beautiful young lady. She had so many passions and so many plans. Her greatest times were spent playing on sports teams, being with her friends and with her family. She was a serious student who loved and appreciated her teachers and her coaches. She was recently most excited about her first job at Campgaw this past winter, and about getting her Driver’s Permit. Jacqueline’s greatest strength was making others feel good. She was an affectionate person who was generous with her hugs. While her life was cut short in tragedy, she lived big, she did a lot, and she will never be far from our hearts.

Jacqueline leaves to cherish her memory: her parents, Louis and Laurie; sisters, Julia and Lauren; grandfather, Frank McDonald; aunts, Maria Forman, Andrea Phillips and Patrice Brophy; uncles, Scott Forman and Joe Phillips; cousins, Marisa Forman, Dan Forman, Kristin Forman, Michael Brophy, Daniel Brophy, Jack Forman and Henry Forman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to CHD Coalition (https://chdcoalition.org).

Dear Zangrilli Family,
My brother and I were Jackie’s camp counselors in the summer of 2018. She was a ray of sunshine that always knew how to put a smile on our faces. Her quick wit and sense of humor were something that always made us laugh. She always amazed us with her good vibes, energy, and incredible personality. We’ll never forget her card skills where she outsmarted us and won almost every game. She had so much compassion for such a young girl, never causing problems and always the first to help a friend. Jackie was one of those kids who made our job not only easier but truly enjoyable. She grew to be everything and more since that summer, an independent and beautiful girl who will always bring sunshine to our small town.
Sending all our love and prayers,
Sarah & Steven Marini

Dear Laurie, Lou, Lauren and Julia,
I am so sorry for your loss and I am sending hugs and prayers to your family in these difficult times. I wanted to share my fondest memories of Jackie. My family and I met Jackie on the soccer and lacrosse fields. I always thought Jackie was a team player. I remember her as an amazing pint size soccer goalie. I remember her determination. If my memory serves me right, she preferred being on the field, but she stepped it up and was the best goalie ever! I loved watching her play. She will be missed by all and especially by my family. Sending love your way.

Dear Laurie, Lou, Julia and Lauren,

The Zangrilli family has always held a special place in our hearts as one of our most favorite Viola families. We cherish those days when Julia and Sophia played softball and our families shared many laughs and fun times. It was then that we got to know Jackie as a spirited and spunky girl with the sunniest (and slightly mischievous) smile. And she completely blew us away with her amazing vocal performance at a "Viola's Got Talent" show (if memory serves, it was a cover of Katy Perry's Dark Horse) -- her maturity and poise were well beyond her young years.

We are so sorry for the unimaginable loss of your beautiful Jackie. We offer our deepest condolences and pray for your comfort and strength during this most difficult of times. We are here for you if we can help in any way.

With much love,
The Changs (Jenny, John, Sophia & Zachary)
