

James “Butch” Patrick of Suffern, NY passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Butch was born on November 2, 1956 to Evelyn and J.B. Patrick. He graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1975. He worked as a machinist at Lederle/Pfizer of Pearl River for 37 years until his retirement in May of this year. He was an active member of the Suffern Volunteer Hose Company No. 1 for 15 years. He was a devoted family man who loved animals especially his three dogs. Butch was an avid hunter and fisherman as well as a faithful Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Although he was a man of few words, he had the blessing of many friends.
Butch is survived by his loving wife MaryAnn, daughters Shawn and Valerie and son James, Jr. He is also survived by his brothers Danny Patrick and Bill Patrick, sister Linda Schwarz and his lifelong friend, James DeStefano.
Visitation will be held Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 at Wanamaker & Carlough of Suffern.
Funeral services will be Monday 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Suffern Volunteer Hose Company No. 1.
