Jeanne R. Villani, 97, of Nanuet, NY, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025. She was born on September 15, 1928 in the Bronx, and lived a long, full life surrounded by the family she cherished deeply.
Jeanne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph Villani, and her daughter, Jacqueline Villani Woodfield. She is survived by her devoted sons, Joseph and Michael, daughters-in-law, Sunae and Karyn, and her adoring grandchildren, Brett, Ralph, Rana, Mia, and Jordan. She was also blessed with ten great-grandchildren—Tyler, Gianna, Trevor, Garrett, McKenna, Virginia, Sebastian, Silas, Sienna, and Sloane—who lovingly knew her as “GG.”
A loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Jeanne built her life around family, faith, and simple joys. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the way she made everyone feel at home around her table. Jeanne loved her daily walks, sharing her delicious cooking with those she loved, and the occasional thrill of hitting the slots at the casino.
Her legacy lives on in the family she raised with love and dedication, and in the countless memories she created with each generation. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jeanne’s life on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 4:00–8:00 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 NY-59 Suffern, NY. A prayer service and burial will take place the following day at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Gate of Heaven cemetery, 10 W Stevens Avenue Hawthorne, NY.
