

Joseph was born to John and Frances Ascolese on November 11, 1939 in the Bronx, NY. He married his beloved wife Denise (Arbolino) Ascolese on April 7, 1984. Joseph owned Joman Construction, was a project engineer at John P. Picone Construction and an active member of the Blauvelt Sons of Italy.
Joseph is survived by his devoted wife Denise Ascolese, cherished sons Michael Ascolese, John Ascolese (Theresa), Anthony Ascolese (Maureen), and Joseph Ascolese (Katherine), adored grandchildren Natalie, Matthew, Vincent, Brendan, Joseph Patrick and Emma, sister Joan Ascolese and in-laws Annette Castaldo, Barbara Arbolino, Jack Arbolino (Ginger), Douglas Arbolino and his companion Inna and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joseph is predeceased by both parents, his grandson Christian Alexander Ascolese, mother and father-in-law Frank and Frances Arbolino, Sis Senatore, Frank Arbolino and Fred Castaldo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 2-8 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 3, 2014 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.
