Elizabeth Lee “Betty” Codi of New City, NY died peacefully February 23, 2016 with her husband Joseph at age 85. Born June 11, 1930 in Ohio to Nello and Mary (Lorenzetti) Borghesi. Elizabeth enjoyed bird watching, walking, nature, cooking, crossword-puzzles and the theatre. She especially loved travelling with her husband Joe in their RV. Survived by her loving children Joseph P. Codi, Jr. (wife Anita Schradin), Robert Codi (wife Rose) and Susan Codi King, caring grandchildren Joseph C. Codi, Christine Codi Radicci and Nicholas Codi and cherished great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Isabelle, Alexander and Madison. Predeceased by her siblings Rose, Anne, Linda, Louise, Viola and Victor. Friends are welcome to attend the Memorial Gathering Saturday from 2-6pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Committal Private.

Joseph P. Codi, Sr. of New City, NY died peacefully February 23, 2016 with his wife Betty at age 89. Born March 6, 1926 in Bronx, NY to Carmine and Mary (DeGennaro) Caccioppoli. Joseph served honorably in the US Navy during WWII and was an avid bowler and woodworker. He was a member of the Woodworking Association, enjoyed the theatre and especially loved travelling with his wife Betty in their RV. Survived by his loving children Joseph P. Codi, Jr. (wife Anita Schradin), Robert Codi (wife Rose) and Susan Codi King, caring grandchildren Joseph C. Codi, Christine Codi Radicci and Nicholas Codi and cherished great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Isabelle, Alexander and Madison. Predeceased by his siblings Patrick, Albert, Gerome, Matthew and Anna.
