Judith Ann Wanamaker

The daughter of Dominic and Marion Mottola she was born on February 9, 1945 in Suffern. Judy remained in the area her entire life raising her 3 wonderful children. Judy spent many years working for Troll Associates in Mahwah before taking a position at the Suffern Parking Authority. Judy was a devoted employee who loved her position in the village and enjoyed working with the community.

Judy was a beautiful and strong woman who persevered through life challenges. To Judy, her family was most important. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother (Nonnie). She enjoyed every moment spent with her family and looked forward to Sunday dinners. She was a true inspiration to her family and friends and was always there with love, patience, and guidance.

Judy was predeceased by her parents and beloved daughter Christine. She is survived by her children James Wanamaker (Dena), Larissa DeBrock (Thomas), and Neil Wanamaker (Tara). Her most precious grandchildren Aidan and Jake Wanamaker, Quinn, Carsen, and Klaire DeBrock, and Ava and Grace Wanamaker. Judy also leaves behind her siblings Mary Lou Shedler, William Mottola (Sally), and Carol White (William) along with many beautiful nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Sunday November 26, 2017 between 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be held on Monday November 27, 2017 at 11am at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Lustgarten Foundation.
