Katherine Gallagher

Katherine Gallagher of Monsey died peacefully surrounded by family on August 11, 2015, she was 73. Born in the Bronx on September 3, 1941 to Michael and Mary McGovern. Katherine was retired from the Monsey Post Office and enjoyed traveling with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Lorraine (Ron) Bauder, her grandchildren Michael and Ryan, her sister Betty (Eddie) Dempsey, nephew Danny O'Boyle, niece Siobhan (Steve) Jackson and her great nephews Aidan and Kieran. Katherine was predeceased by her parents Michael & Mary McGovern, sister Margaret McGovern, husband Raymond Gallagher and daughter Diane Groesbeck.

Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 11am with the interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.
