Kathleen Marie Gelalia

Kathleen was born on September 16, 1948 to the late Robert Ambrose and Hildegard (Reimann) Ambrose in Nyack, NY. She grew up in Nanuet and was a member of the graduating class of Nanuet High School 1966. Her childhood summers were spent in Wellfleet, MA, and Cape Cod would quickly become her second home, a place which would always remain dear to her heart. In the years to come, Kathleen would be employed in the Admissions department of Good Samaritan Hospital.

She was a dear friend, beloved Aunt, and a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Gelalia, her two loving children, Joseph Nickolas Neu and Jeanine Marie Henry and her husband Richard, her beloved brother Clifford Ambrose, stepchildren Michael and Jill Gelalia, and her five cherished grandchildren, Richard, Jade, Jesse, Nicholas and Nina.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 1-5 at the WANAMAKER & CARLOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 177 rt 59, Suffern, NY. A Memorial service will be held immediately following at 5:30PM, also at the funeral home.
