I am so saddened by the loss of my dear friend Kath. Although we have been apart for 20 years, each time we chatted was like no time had lapsed. Her smiling face, infectious laughter and heartwarming voice, "ah, Murty" will never be forgotten.
Although I am not able to be with you all during this difficult time, please know that my heart aches for the pain you are feeling and I offer my spirit to hold you up giving you all the strength and peace I have to offer.
With hugs, love and cherished memories.

Dear Katie, James, John, and Dr. Loftus,
I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Know that your mom (wife) was loved and admired by many of the LBI teachers. We always could count on her genuine support, boundless energy, kind heart, and quick humor. She truly was a mom who partnered with us to make things better. Loved her spirit! I'm sending you my heartfelt hugs and prayers to help you find comfort during a tough time. Karen Barrow
