Kathleen Ann Turziano

Born on September 25, 1954, to Gilbert and Rosalie McGuire. Kathy was a courageous, loving, passionate, and caring person who touched the lives of all that had the privilege to know her. Her life was dedicated to her husband, children, nieces, nephews, sister, and grandchildren. Kathleen was born in Yonkers NY, and moved to Valley Cottage with her parents and sister early on in life. Kathleen graduated from Nyack High School in 1974 and attended R.C.C. to study nursing where she met her husband. Kathleen’s bravery and grace was only rivaled by her illuminating spirit and personality that was sure to liven up any room. She worked as a medical assistant briefly before dedicating her entire being to her children and family. Kathleen was also an advocate for children with special needs and always spoke up for those who struggled to have a voice for themselves. Kathy enjoyed traveling with her husband, the Jersey shore, good food, and more than anything else, seeing a smile on the face of her loved ones. She will be eternally missed by all those who knew her. Kathleen is survived by her husband Carl Turziano, children Douglas Turziano and Natalia Young, Gregory Turziano and Gillian Caparro, Karalyn (Turziano) and James Lawler, and Courtney Turziano, Her sister Gail and Brother in-laws Louis Cianciulli, Domenic Turziano, and sister in-laws Sandra DePoalo and Judith Bucci, grandchildren Gia Rose, Domenic, and Devyn. Donations in Kathleen’s memory may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
