To the Braun Family,

I just found out that Ken had passed away. He was a friend of mine in the shoe business. Although, I haven't been in the business in 16 years I still remember the nicest guy in the shoe industry. He was always smiling, happy and helpful to many people. God bless you and your family.  Ken Braun will be missed terribly by all who knew him.

Bob and I were so saddened to hear of Kenny's passing. Bob worked with him while they were at Edison Brothers and Kenny made me feel like one of the gang when I moved to St. Louis to marry Bob. Kenny was one of our groomsmen in our wedding. He was happy to teach me some cooking tricks while I was learning how to cook as a newlywed. Bob and I offer our deepest sympathies to Ken's family.

Kenny was one of the "good guys" in my 5th Grade class.  I'll never forget his smile, laugh, & kindness to his classmates & teachers. I have just learned of this tragedy today and want to offer all of my condolence's to the Braun family.  Ken was always pleasant, smiling, and friendly whenever we talked and this was time to time over the last several years.  I am going to miss the positive impact he had on everything that he expressed.  You are very special Ken and I will miss you very much.

My best friends dad, always so welcoming and kind to me whenever I would stay endless days with Jenna and just to have you around in the house was fun. You will truly be missed and we loved you all so much. We were family friends and thank you for taking us to the airport before we left. We are so sad to know that Kenny has passed away.  Our memories of his fun loving disposition, and perpetual smile will serve as a constant reminder of the type of person Kenny was.
 Ruben and I went to school with Kenny (Union Hill), and I was also part of his elementary years at Roosevelt School.  My family (Spinosa ) lived one house away from the Braun's, we all grew up together, on Roosevelt Street, and enjoyed the "best of times" along with our families.

Kenny was a great guy...we'll always remember the fun times, his smiling face, and his precious and loving ways.

We have never known another person who gave as much of himself to others as Ken  did.  He was truly the most unique individual to ever have crossed our paths.

Ken had an exceptional ability to turn even the most uncomfortable situation into a laugh.  He was larger than life and never, ever gave up on anything or anyone.

Ken was the center of the Universe for countless people, not because he chose to or tried to be, but because he lived his life in the service of others. 

All of us who knew and loved him have been deprived of the blessing of his presence way too early but we all share the benifit of having been loved as only Ken could do.

I remember Kenny's wonderful smile, joy, and great enthusiasm for life as one of "the yardbirds" during high school days.  Kenny was a sweet, sincere guy who always lifted your spirits.  We were better for knowing him.  My heartfelt sympathies to his family at this difficult time.

The service today was very emotional, my thoughts & prayers go out to the entire Braun family. I worked with Kenny at Steve Madden for many years & we  continued to keep in touch as we moved forward in our careers in the shoe industry. We are so shocked and sorry to hear of Kenny's passing.  We knew him in St. Louis where he worked with Steve and when ever we ran into him at the Vegas shoe show he always had pictures of his family...he was so proud of you and loved you so much. We will remember him as a really fun friend, a great dancer, and always so full of life.  We are sorry for your loss.

Ken enjoyed life like no one else! He never met a stranger and treated everyone he worked with like family.

To Kenny's Friends and family. Kenny was the Best Man at our wedding 32 years ago. Today as we said goodbye I saw a little bit of him in all of us. Kenny made everyone feel like he was your best friend too . He was the Best Of Men to us all. All our prayers Jerry Grace and Michele Creisstoff.

I am so so sorry to hear about Ken. We worked together at Edison and then our paths crossed frequently throughout both of our careers in the shoe industry up until very recently. He was always pleasant to be around and was always ready to help. He was a good man. We will miss him deeply. My sincere sympathy to all his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My Uncle my friend, I have 41 years of memories , My heart is broken you were a father to me and have shared with me most of the happiest memories I have. My children adore you as I do , you are " Uncle Kenny"  everyone loves "Uncle Kenny" . your children are true superstars as you are and have led them to be. I will remmber all the New Year's we've spent all the Thanksgivings, As a little girl you loved me so unconditional as you did as I grew to a woman and a mother. You were there for everything always, We danced , ate, sang, laughed, cried, worried, cooked loved, i can go on for days about how you are such a wonderful human being , and how a piece of my heart has been taken with you. We love you and miss you and will never forget all you taught me and showed me. I adore you. May you rest in peace and I will make sure Kenny and Jenna are treated the way you have treated all of us your entire life. I pray for aunt debra and the children and our family to find a way to ease the pain.But unless you start dancing to Earth Wind and Fire in my Kitchen or walk through the door on Thanksgiving My heart will always have missing piece....

I worked with Ken at Steve Madden and always enjoyed him. Even when he was crazy and bouncing off the walls, his kind heart and talent always shined through.
