Leleith Elaine Clarke passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, in Nanuet, New York. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of her family and community. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the love she so freely shared with all who knew her.

Born on March 11, 1939, in Kingston, Jamaica, Leleith lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and generosity. She carried herself with quiet grace and a deep sense of compassion, touching the lives of many along her journey.

Leleith was deeply devoted to her family, who were the center of her world. She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Marcia, Sharon, Janice, and Michelle, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will continue to honor her legacy of love and strength.

She will be fondly remembered for her warm smile, her love of cooking, and her unwavering faith, which guided her throughout her life.

Leleith’s presence will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A service to celebrate Leleith’s life will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, New York 10901, on April 17, 2026. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed immediately by the funeral service at the same location.
