Loretta A. Conklin, 68, of Sherburne NY, formerly of Sloatsburg NY, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 following a brief illness. She was born July 22, 1943 to the late Allen T. Summers and Loretta (Marsh) Summers in the Town of Ramapo. Loretta was employed by the Town of Tuxedo Park Police Department until her retirement. She had several hobbies especially fishing with her late husband Charles R, (Bobby) Conklin who predeceased her in 1994. Loretta is survived by her sisters Joan Rivera of Norwich, NY, Anna Baez of Pomona, NY, Brenda and Vernon Millen of Fulton NY and a brother Allen T. Summers of Sherburne, NY and several nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Funeral Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 1 pm at the funeral home followed by an Interment at Airmont Cemetery.
