Lorraine F. Miele of Sloatsburg, NY passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017, she was 85. Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 24, 1931 to the late Robert & Anna Colbath. Lorraine later met and married the love of her life Joseph Miele who predeceased her in 2011.
She is survived by her daughters; Carol (Thomas) Donnelly and Lorraine Miele, granddaughters; Lauren (Raymond) Burr, Kristen Donnelly and great-granddaughters; Olivia and Addison Burr. Lorraine is also predeceased by her young son; Joseph Miele, Jr. and infant daughter; Barbara Ann Miele.
Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joan of Arc Church, Sloatsburg, NY on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 10am with the interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
