Louis J. Artale

Louis J. Artale, 78, passed away on February, 15th. Born in the Bronx, he attended Hunter College and Fordam Law School, served in both the U.S. Army and Navy and practiced law for over 50 years. Louis moved to Rockland County in 1969 to raise his family. He is survived by his wife, Joann, of 53 years, his children Lorraine and Paul, their spouses Kasey and Stacey, three granddaughters Angelina, Julianna and Giavanna, and his brother Matthew.He was an active member of Church of the Presentation and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family. He will forever be remembered for being an adoring husband, endearing father and loving papa/poppy. Visitation will be held today, Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 3-7PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, February 20th, 11AM at Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Committal private.
